Amazing food with great taste! We ordered the chicken shawarma bowl and the falafel bowl — both were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, with sauces that enhanced the dishes without overpowering them. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service was fast. Definitely a place I’d recommend anyone looking for a satisfying and tasty meal!
Overview
If you’re anywhere near Bentonville and craving something flavorful, smoky, and downright satisfying, Mr.cone Shawarma - Bentonville is the kind of spot that turns a quick bite into a small celebration. Tucked away at 3404 SE Macy Rd #20, Bentonville, AR 72712, United States, this diner-style eatery serves up shawarma that can rival some of the best Mediterranean street food you’ll find in bigger cities. What makes it special isn’t just the food-it’s the energy, the care, and that unmistakable local warmth that keeps you coming back.
When I first walked in, I was greeted by the aroma of freshly grilled meat and warm spices that hit all the right notes-garlic, cumin, paprika, and that charred perfection from the rotisserie. Watching the cooks slice the shawarma right off the spit was a treat in itself. You can tell they take pride in every serving. I decided to go with the chicken cone, a signature item that’s basically a handheld wrap of joy-crispy fries, creamy sauce, tender meat, and just enough crunch from pickles and fresh lettuce. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience layered with flavor and texture.
What’s striking about the menu is how balanced it feels. You’ll find the classic chicken and beef shawarma wraps, but also rice bowls, falafel, loaded fries, and even fusion-style cones that blend American fast-food comfort with authentic Middle Eastern zest. Their garlic sauce is easily one of the best I’ve had-smooth, tangy, and perfectly garlicky without being overpowering. A quick scan of online reviews shows locals and travelers alike raving about consistency, cleanliness, and the friendly staff. It’s one of those rare places where even takeout feels personal.
Speaking with one of the staff members, I learned that they marinate their meats for at least 24 hours before roasting, using a mix of traditional spices imported from the Levant region. According to a 2023 report from The National Restaurant Association, consumers are increasingly drawn to “global comfort foods” that bring both familiarity and adventure, which explains why shawarma joints like this one are thriving in smaller American cities. The owners of Mr. Cone clearly understand that balance-honoring authenticity while adapting to local tastes. For example, they offer extra spicy options, keto-friendly bowls, and even vegetarian cones to appeal to a wider crowd without compromising flavor.
What I personally love most is the casual yet vibrant atmosphere. The layout is simple, the colors bright, and the service quick-perfect for a weekday lunch or a family weekend dinner. You’ll often see groups sharing platters, laughter filling the room, and kids biting into fries dipped in tahini. On my second visit, I noticed a group of regulars who didn’t even need to order-the staff already knew their favorites. That kind of connection speaks volumes about the trust they’ve built with the community.
It’s worth noting that Bentonville has seen a rise in multicultural dining over the past few years, fueled in part by its growing population and proximity to international businesses like Walmart’s headquarters. Restaurants like Mr. Cone are part of that culinary evolution-bridging cultures through flavor. A 2024 study from Restaurant Business Online highlighted how towns with diverse dining options report higher local engagement and repeat customers, and it’s easy to see why. When food feels both authentic and accessible, people naturally gravitate toward it.
For those planning a visit, parking is convenient, and the location is easy to reach from anywhere in town. Most customers mention how fresh everything tastes, even during rush hours, which isn’t something you can say about every fast-casual place. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, ordering takeout for the family, or just want to explore something different from the usual burger-and-fries routine, this spot delivers satisfaction every time.
Restaurants come and go, but when one manages to blend great food, genuine hospitality, and consistency, it earns a place in people’s routines. Mr. Cone Shawarma has done just that-transforming simple meals into memorable experiences that keep Bentonville talking (and eating) for all the right reasons.

I recently visited Mr. Cone Indian Restaurant on August 17, 2025, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, complementing the flavorful dishes perfectly. The star of the meal was undoubtedly the date smoothie—it was a 10/10, the best I've ever tasted! Its rich, creamy texture combined with the natural sweetness of the dates created a refreshing and satisfying delight. In addition to the smoothie, I tried the lamb over rice, which was equally impressive. The lamb was tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned with authentic Indian spices, and the rice was fluffy and aromatic. Overall, Mr. Cone Indian Restaurant offers a very, very delicious and yummy dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for flavorful dishes and standout beverages!
Very very good! The chicken, the french fries, the lamb, the falafel, was all amazing. I highly reccomend this place to anyone wanting to try schawarma for the first time!
An interesting take on Shawarma. While I’m still waiting for a restaurant that has traditional Mediterranean Shawarma, Mr. Cone is a fine substitute. Shawarma in a cone is a gimmick but a tasty one. The wings are good but small and missing from the printed menu, on website only. The restaurant is large and has a modern vibe, too bad it was mostly empty. Will be back but with Kwality / Vira’s in the same plaza it may be difficult to return regularly.
We tried Kone Shawarma and ordered the Chicken Skewer and Lamb Skewer—both were cooked perfectly, juicy, and really delicious. The avocado salad was also fresh and tasty. All the meat is halal, which is a big plus. The only things I’d point out are that the food presentation could use some improvement, and the chicken bites were on the smaller side. That said, the flavors were spot on, and the food was definitely worth it. We’ll be going back again for sure!
Mr Cone has it all—-great food, friendly and fast service, and a great atmosphere. We had a group of kids and they enjoyed hanging out in the lounge/couch area which allowed the adults to enjoy dinner. The staff was great and accommodating to various food restrictions. And the food—simply delicious. I had a falafel quinoa bowl and the flavor texture of the falafel was the best I’ve had in the states. Prices are reasonable for the portions you get as well. Give this place a try—you won’t regret it.
I went to Mr.Cone Shawarma for lunch -OMG the flavors!! I had rice bowl with chicken. The chicken is perfectly cooked and Falafel was delicious and i appreciate their amazing service. Milk shake is tasty and unique.
